The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • $97,910 to $138,078 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Anaesthetist to contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (interns and residents), perform clinical work and undertake research.

A key focus of this role will involve providing high quality clinical anaesthetic services to our two veterinary hospitals in Wagga Wagga. These facilities are staffed by experienced clinicians and specialists as well as interns/residents; and are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic, imaging, surgical, and anaesthetic equipment.

An attractive relocation package may be offered to assist with relocating to Wagga Wagga.

To be successful you will have:

  • A qualification in Veterinary Science appropriate to the level being applied for or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • Eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW
  • A record of research or professional activity relevant to the discipline that demonstrates a capacity to make an autonomous contribution
  • Commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities or similar
