Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 503946), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility for renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a strong background in molecular biology, energy metabolism and metabolic disease.  They should have excellent communication skills, a strong record of research output, extensive experience in animal study, and the ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.

The appointee will contribute to the basic and translational research of metabolic disorders and potential therapeutic strategies in the conversion of white to brown adipose tissues. He/She will also participate in other research projects under the supervision of Dr. Ruby L. C. Hoo.
