Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Study of Gut Microbiota and Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in the Department of Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 503978), to commence as soon as possible for one to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, preferably in Biology or a related discipline, with experience in human, mouse and molecular experiments.  Preference will be given to those with a strong background in molecular biology and/or experience in multi-omics analysis.  They should be responsible, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.  The appointee will work on an applied research project to explore the role of microbial species in the progression of NAFLD.  Details of the Research and Development activities can be found at www.sklpb.hku.hk.  Enquiries about the post should be sent to Miss Lily Li at lily46@hku.hk.
