TUBITAK 2232 International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Programme

Bahcesehir University (BAU) welcomes qualified researchers, especially Turkish scientists, who have distinguished themselves with high-level scientific and/or technological studies in their fields and have experience in working abroad, to come to Turkey from abroad in order to contribute to the projects to be carried out in research areas of strategic importance for our country.

TUBITAK 2232 Program aims to support qualified researchers with leading scientific and/or technological achievements and international work experience to conduct their research in leading academic, industrial or public institutions to contribute in areas that are strategic value to Turkey.

What are the support items of TUBITAK 2232 Program?

The programme will include:
+    Scholarship for the coordinator,
+    Family allowance (if applicable),
+    Initial research grant,
+    Research project grant,
+    Grant intended for establishing a research team (scholarship for up to 5 graduate students and post-doctoral researchers the project coordinator will include in the research team for conducting his/her research in Turkey)
+    Project Incentive Bonus for researchers involved within the scope of the research project,
+    Institutional share allowance for host institution,
+    Health insurance for the coordinator and his/her family,
+    Travel allowance for the coordinator and his/her family,
+    Mentoring Support.
*Maximum two of the scholars who will take part in the project team can be master students and one can be a post-doctoral researcher.
