About the role

The Faculty of Business, Law and Arts delivers programs that imbed practical learning based on the latest research and industry trends and our courses are designed to build students knowledge and capabilities while opening doors and opportunities for them anywhere in the world.

The Lecturer in Digital Media will deliver units in Creative Arts, primarily within the Bachelor of Digital Media and Bachelor of Art and Design programs. The Lecturer will teach both face to face and online, and develop and deliver content that incorporates new learning technologies and innovative teaching methods.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $138,092 per annum (inclusive of base salary $99,649-$118,027 per annum and 17% employers contribution to superannuation).

This appointment will be located in Lismore, NSW, within the exceptional Northern Rivers region. The area offers the best of an Australian lifestyle: sporting and cultural events, world-class beaches, World Heritage Listed rainforests and vibrant community hubs. Relocation support is available for this role.

About you

Possessing a PhD in a relevant field, you will have experience in teaching and curriculum development, for face-to-face and online modes, in blended learning and multi-campus delivery.

You will have demonstrated experience providing practical and theoretical instruction in some or all of the following areas: visual communication and design, photography and digital imaging, digital media practices, motion design and animation and a proven track record of research and/or creative work in contemporary media theory and practice, with research and creative output appearing in reputable national and international forums.
