Lecturer in E-Sports

We are looking for a new team member to join our Institute of Hospitality and Tourism in the role of Lecturer in E-Sports. The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism will be launching its first E-sports top-up degree in September 2021 and part of your role will be to build our network to ensure our students have access to career opportunities, internships and work placements throughout their course.
You will have a strong background in E-sports, and have the ability to produce and deliver a high-quality teaching and learning experience. A related first degree and higher degree, alongside E-sports industry experience, and the ability to effectively apply relevant E-sports and learning technologies to the education environment, is essential. You will be able to exhibit University of East London’s values in your attitude and your approach to teaching. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a cross-curricular team. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences.
