We are looking for an enthusiastic academic to join a highly respected programme in Golf Course Management. You will become an active member of the Core Academic Team in the planning, development, preparation and delivery of high quality education and research provision in the area of sustainable golf course management (research interests may include, but not limited to, sustainable landscape ecology and management; turf science, turf management, agronomy); to use and develop Elmwood Golf Course across education, research and commercial activities. 

Ideally, the successful applicant will be experienced in FE and/or HE delivery, combined with a drive to impact positively on today’s golf industry. The successful applicant will also ideally have a track record of research in a related field. SRUC is seeking a closer alignment of its research and education activities and it is hoped that the successful applicant will contribute to world class research carried out within SRUC on terms of grant income and publication output. You will grasp the opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and ambitions that will build on current strengths within the department, and across the institution.
