013124 Lecturer Assistant Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, UCD School of Veterinary Medicine, Specified Purpose Career Break , Due to end December 2021

The Section of Small Animal Clinical Studies of the School of Veterinary Medicine in UCD has a temporary (career break) post to support continued growth and strategic planning in the area of small animal emergency and critical care.

Applicants must hold a degree in veterinary medicine registerable with the Veterinary Council of Ireland or a specialist degree with which an application for limited registration with the Veterinary Council (see www.vci.ie) could be made. The successful applicant would preferably be an active specialist in Emergency and Critical Care, Anaesthesia or Internal Medicine (European or American board certification) or be eligible to obtain such qualifications. Consideration will also be given to candidates without further specialist qualifications who have sufficient experience in the area of emergency and critical care.

Salary Scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
