Education Support Team is looking for a Programme Manager to offer high-quality administrative support to Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience’s taught degree programmes, specifically within the School of Academic Psychiatry.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the operational management of a cluster of programmes within the Faculty to ensure that University and Faculty priorities, timelines and policies are met, providing leadership and line management to Programme Officer and Senior Programme Officer roles. In addition to the ‘business as usual’ operational delivery the post holder will also be working closely with the Senior Programme Manager to support and manage specific projects, including supporting the recent reconfiguration of the administrative support for the school, and reviewing faculty placement activity.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the student lifecycle and the administrative support that is required to deliver an outstanding student experience. Motivated by the challenges and opportunities facing higher education, highly organised and flexible in approach, the post holder will have proven skills in managing numerous tasks and prioritising workload. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is attention to detail. Experience of the SITS student records database would also be beneficial.
Comfortable with working relatively autonomously within defined boundaries, this role will suit a motivated individual who is keen to take the next step in their career.
