We are seeking a researcher with strong qualitative research skills to work as part of a large international multidisciplinary consortium. The project - Perfom2Scale - is funded by the European Commission and led by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine; with partners in Europe (The Netherland and Switzerland) and Africa (Ghana, Uganda and Malawi), as well as Ireland, where this post will be based, at Maynooth University. The candidate will also work closely with the other Irish partners in the project; the Centre for Global Health at Trinity College Dublin.

Perform2Scale is a well-managed and very supportive consortium with a broad range of expertise brought to focus around the challenge of strengthening human resources for health. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to several aspects of the project, including on-going work on capacity building, and there is scope to allow them to further development of their own research interests.

Salary

Research Assistant (Level 2) (2020): €31,120 - €35,922 per annum pro-rata (7 points)

Post-Doctoral Researcher (Level 1) (2020):  €38,632 per annum pro-rata (1 point)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above pay scale.
