Duties

The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “AI based safety assurance”. 

Qualifications

Applicants for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow should have a doctoral degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Econometrics or a relevant discipline. They should also have:

1. no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;

• strong analytical skill with interests in big data and artificial intelligence;
• proficiency in statistical tools, database software and programming language (e.g. STATA, Python);
• good interpersonal and communication skills; and
• good knowledge of aviation and/or maritime industry being an advantage.

Applicants for the post of Research Associate / Research Assistant should have an honours degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Econometrics or a relevant discipline.
