ACADEMICS, RESEARCH, AND CAREERS (ARC) PROGRAM ASSISTANTLeaders for Global Operations (LGO), to support and work on the implementation of complex and diverse projects and tasks that span across the LGO ARC team. Will work on diverse academic and internship, career development, and general program support duties. The LGO program has numerous activities for students, faculty, and partner companies. Responsibilities include a variety of logistic planning, data collection, and information summarization duties; tracking deliverables; and document compilation as part of the academic requirements for students to complete the program.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma; at least three years of experience in an academic, student-facing role; strong organizational and oral and written communication skills; effective judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters within a higher education environment; strong computer and survey design skills and knowledge of database and spreadsheet software; and attention to detail. Must be able to handle multiple tasks while taking direction from different stakeholders; interact and work effectively with a variety of people with different work styles; quickly learn new systems and deliver work packages on time; and function with minimal supervision but understand the importance of checking in to ensure projects stay on track and the work is being done appropriately.

PREFERRED: bachelor’s degree, knowledge of student development, general knowledge of international higher educational systems and institutions, and MIT experience. Job #19250-5
