Job Description

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the area of water/wastewater treatment. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of water treatment techniques. The candidate should be able to use a wide array of laboratory instruments to analyze contaminants in water and wastewater. The candidate will carry on their own research work in addition to supervision of other graduate students. S/he is expected to prepare grant funding proposals and manuscripts ready for publication at reputable international journal.

Minimum Qualification

• Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
• Three relevant publications in high impact factor journals
• Demonstrable willingness to support work in the lab
• Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
• Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace

Preferred Qualification

• Five relevant publications in high impact factor journals
