The successful applicant will join a team which is responsible for delivering two related master’s level programmes – Construction and Project Management and BIM Project Management; programmes which attract significant numbers of international students.

You will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with practical and research experience in Constrction Project Management. You are expected to have particular experience in one or more of the following areas: financial management including the use of tools and techniques for financial planning and management; the application of new and emerging tools and approaches to project management, specifically including digital technology; design management, business management and design decision making; the legal framework for procurement and/or construction and project management. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to several programme modules, to develop new research and contribute to existing research within the School.

This is a fixed term contract position available for 3 years in the first instance.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Honours degree in Management, Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
  • Have or be about to obtain a PhD in a discipline relevant to construction and project management.
  • Minimum of five years relevant experience in the construction industry in practice, research or education
  • A publication record, in a discipline related to construction and project management, commensurate with stage in career.
