MANAGER, REVENUE CYCLE OPERATIONS, MIT Medical, to manage the day-to-day operations and practice functions of the Billing and Coding Finance Department. Will be responsible for providing strategy, decision support, organizational planning, and operational leadership in support of driving revenue cycle related activities; serve as a principal resource on all operational matters for an assigned area and possibly act as a consultant to managers of other service areas; develop and implement procedures to insure the efficient processing of work; participate in confidential salary planning for staff; and develop and maintain systems/processes that measure the results of staff work/productivity, volume, patient/staff/provider satisfaction, or other work improvement indicators.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; at least five years’ revenue cycle operations experience and at least three years’ management experience in a healthcare setting; experience managing the revenue cycle operations within an ambulatory medical care setting and/or demonstrated, relevant domain knowledge; strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, analytical, and written and oral communication skills; keen attention to detail; good judgment with sensitive matters; experience with data modeling, spreadsheets, and databases; and advanced-level experience with Excel. Must be able to keep colleagues informed about procedures, requirements, and deadlines; coach team members and help counterparts through difficult transitions; meet deadlines while providing high-level customer service; work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes; and work as part of a team to fulfill joint objectives. Seek a self-starter who is willing to take on new challenges, create innovative solutions, and get deep into details and perform very granular reviews and extensive process shadowing.
PREFERRED: master’s degree and experience with Cerner and SAP. Job #19029-9
