Job Description

As part of its renewed strategy, the CBE has reorganized its faculty around themes and challenges, one of which is Innovation in Government and Society. Part of the agenda is to support public authorities in their managerial innovation and organization design. To this end, the College is currently seeking a full-time faculty member, in the rank of associate or full professor, in the domain of public administration, with a special focus on e-governance, and innovation in managerial practices and organizational development for the public administration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The appointed candidate will be expected to:

• Take a leading role in the development and implementation of the activities relating to public administration management;
• Engage with public authorities in order to understand their concerns, set clear priorities, and assure sustained relevance of the deployed activities.
• Develop and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses; engage in innovative approaches to learning and teaching; participate in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and/or dissertations;
• Develop a relevant research agenda and publish high quality research.

Minimum Qualification

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., economics, business, public administration) from an internationally recognized university;
• Relevant experience in policy analysis and/or advice in relation with public administration management and/or restructuring;
• Acquaintance with the managerial aspects of e-governance;
• Strong interpersonal skills, willingness to and experience with engagement with public authorities;
• Team player, sound management skills to deliver team-based research and advisory projects;
• Ability to communicate effectively in English;
• Academic credentials backed by a recognized research record;
• Committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and outcome assessment;
