Job Details
School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing the experimental setup and designing of experiments
- Conducting trials to collect data and implementation of suitable learning algorithms
- Submission of a detailed final report on the project milestones
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in robotics or relevant fields
- Experience in the field of robotics or collaborative robotics
- Knowledge in programming and operating multiple robots in different programming languages (Java, MATLAB and python)
- Experience in robot motion planning and control & human robot collaboration
- Experience on image processing such as OpenCV
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A good team player
- Responsible and have a strong passion in research

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
