Duties and responsibilities

• Lecturing and conducting seminars in the areas of software engineering, software architecture, web development and software quality assurance. 
• Supervising research of students. 
• Conducting research in software engineering at an international level.
• Participation in the work of the university’s decision-making bodies is recommended. 
• Engaging in science outreach activities.

Required qualifications

• PhD or an equivalent qualification. See also requirements for teaching and research staff.

Required experience

• Candidates must have successful teaching experience in a higher education establishment at the bachelor and/or master's levels.
• Research experience and publications in the area of specialisation are essential.
• A track record of publications in highly reputable venues in the area of specialisation or a related field is desirable. 
• Experience in supervising students is also highly desirable.

Required language skills
Excellent command of the English language is required. Estonian is recommended but not required.

Workload 1,00
Salary From 2200 to 2800 euros (gross) per month depending on work experience and qualifications. The total annual payroll is 35 000-45 000 euros, which includes employer taxes. See also UT salary rules.
