Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Global Economics and Management

Tenure track Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Global Economics and Management with focus on Finance (f/m/d)

(Full-time, Initially limited to 3 years)

Responsibilities:

In this position you will typically take over teaching responsibilities in the following fields with an international perspective:

 Corporate Finance 

  • Finance and Investment 
  • Financial Accounting 
  • Managerial Accounting 

 The successful candidate will supervise Bachelor and Master theses, as well as other student projects, and will advise students during their studies. The supervision of PhD students is also possible. 

The successful candidate is expected to take over responsibilities in the further development of the undergraduate study programs in business and economics.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • PhD degree in Business Administration or Economics with focus on Finance and/or Accounting 
  • Experience and success in teaching in international and diverse environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interest in innovative teaching methods
  • Strong publication record related to finance or accounting
  • Experience in transferring research knowledge to solving problems in business, administration or management
  • Responsible, self-motivated person able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Fluent in English, the language of instruction and communication on campus
  • Intercultural experience and competencies will be considered as additional assets
