Job Details
A Project Officer position is available in the Rapid-Rich Object SEarch (ROSE) Lab, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
The ROSE Lab focuses on research in: (i) visual object search, (ii) video analytics & deep learning, and (iii) multimedia forensics & biometrics. Many of the Lab’s projects make use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning approaches. A critical resource at the ROSE Lab is its large-scale GPU computing facilities for machine learning.
Job Responsibilities
- Planning, training, testing, and implementing of computer vision algorithm for person detection, human tracking and re-identification
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering, or a related field
- Good experience in Python or C/C++/C# languages will be critical

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
