We are seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer to join our Social Work academic team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed and research active staff group, located in a Faculty with a well-established portfolio of inter-professional education and a strong commitment to transdisciplinary working in both teaching and research.
The team is part of a wider Division that offers an innovative range of provision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relation to Social Work and Youth Work/Youth and Community Development. You will be joining a staff team with extensive practice expertise across a range of social work, social care, and health care settings. The Division has staff with national and international research and publication profiles, and includes a Professor in Social Work and Health Inequalities and two Associate Professors.
This post will focus specifically on our BA and MA Social Work programmes and there will be opportunities to teach across a range of modules according to specialist areas of interest and expertise. You will require a relevant post graduate qualification and also experience of delivering teaching and/or training.
A social work qualification, be registered with Social Work England, and have the ability to provide an outstanding learning experience to support the development of our Social Work students must be required.
