Applications are invited for a 12-months postdoctoral research position in Mathematics. As a successful candidate, you will conduct research relevant to the development of an integrable systems approach to the study of complex systems using methods of nonlinear partial differential equations and statistical mechanics.

This position is funded by a research project grant from The Leverhulme Trust and you will work primarily with Dr Antonio Moro (Principal Investigator).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in mathematical modelling, methods for partial differential equations, and knowledge of statistical mechanics and thermodynamics. Knowledge of integrable systems and random matrix theory would also be beneficial.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Mathematics or a relevant discipline by the start of the project.
