Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Centre for Information Technology in Education within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 502387), to commence as soon as possible until August 31, 2021.

Applicants should possess: (i) a Ph.D. degree in Education, Psychology or other fields related to the learning sciences, learning design and technologies, or educational leadership development; (ii) solid qualitative and quantitative research skills; and (iii) the ability to communicate effectively in writing and in oral presentations in both Chinese and English. A track record of research and professional publications, and relevant work experience in the teaching and learning of science/STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) would be advantages.

The appointee will work on a project on STEM education and transformative learning leadership. He/She will work closely with the Principal Investigator and the project team to conduct research in the teaching and learning of STEM, multilevel leadership and other related research studies. He/She will be responsible for research and instrument design; data collection, management, analysis and interpretation; preparation for publications in peer-reviewed journals and books; working collaboratively with the project team to liaise with schools, professional bodies and other relevant stakeholders; and providing assistance in administrative and promotional work.
