Representing an exciting new collaboration between the Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation and the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme, the purpose of this 12 month (Grade X, 1.0 FTE)  Senior Research Assistant role is to support and manage on-going research projects addressing the support systems available to talented athletes in various educational settings. Alongside a willingness to work flexibly, the successful candidate will have an experience of a) performing and managing literature reviews, b) collecting, managing, and analysing various forms of data, c) ) applying psycho-social theorising to the support of talented athletes in the education sectors, and d) disseminating research findings to various audiences (e.g., academics, practitioners, and policy makers). This role will also entail contributing to the generation of various research funding bids and engagement with national and international partners and collaborators.. The successful candidate will be based at the University’s City Campus.
