Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 502328), to commence as soon as possible for one to two year(s), with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, computer science, engineering or a related discipline. Prior experience in programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence and pattern recognition would be an advantage. The appointee will work on research projects related to next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence and pattern recognition under the co-supervision of Professor Patrick C.Y. Woo and Dr. Raven K.H. Kok.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
