Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 502330), to commence from January 1, 2021 or as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related subject, and have demonstrated knowledge and experience in experimental condensed matter physics.  The appointee will conduct research on experimental condensed matter physics in the group of Professor X. Cui. Strong technical experience in semiconductor optics and/or semiconductor physics will be highly desirable. Collaborations with other condensed matter groups in HKU are encouraged.  Information about the Department can be obtained at http://www.physics.hku.hk/.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
