Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 502295), to commence as soon as possible for one year.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences or Humanities; proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English; excellence in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions; familiarity with qualitative or quantitative analysis in social research; and the ability to work independently and as a team.  The appointee will assist Professor Pun Ngai in planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on her knowledge exchange project on youth employment, gender and community services in Hong Kong and Taiwan; oversee data collection, data analysis and report drafting; and perform any other relevant tasks as assigned. There will be ample opportunities to work with research professionals, non-governmental organization professionals, as well as stakeholders in the community.
