Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in the Department of Economics.
The Department is seeking to appoint a new colleague at the lecturer (Teaching focused) level. The appointed person will teach courses in any areas of Economics and Finance, at both UG and PG level. The teaching load will be agreed with the Head of Department. The successful applicant will also participate in departmental curriculum design activity and teaching quality enhancement activities, including mentoring teaching fellows. The successful candidate will also be required to supervise undergraduate and MSc projects, and act as a Personal and Academic Tutor.
The successful applicant must have teaching experience at undergraduate, and preferably also postgraduate level. It is expected that the post holder will have a PhD or be in a position to submit imminently. The successful applicant must also have the ability to keep up with economic research to teach at the frontier of knowledge and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. It should be passionate about teaching and engage in pedagogical research and training.
This post is available from October 2020 to August 2021 and is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
