School of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will work on the broad area of design automation and embedded systems, including but not limited to the following topics:

  • Research on different deep-learning and machine learning based algorithms and applications
  • Implement deep-learning based algorithms for the system-level design, including but not limited to domain-specific acceleration, application mapping, scheduling, routing or switching control
  • Collaborate with other team member(s) for more efficient outcome delivery
  • Perform administrative works assigned by the PI to ensure the smoothness of the project

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering or Electronic Engineering at a top-tier university
  • Experience in machine learning, deep learning, design automation, embedded systems, real-time systems, computer architecture, computer-aided design, etc. or related fields
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
