The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.

The Research Fellow will take a lead role in building a farm-scale dynamic simulation model as a core part of the ARC funded Linkage Project titled: “Integrated Farm Modelling to Improve Resilience and Sustainable Prosperity.” This position is fully dedicated to the ARC funded Linkage Project, located out of the Crawford School, but with collaboration with the Research School of Biology at ANU, the University of Technology Sydney, the National Australia Bank and the Economics of Land Development project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

You will be critical focal point of the project, attending interviews with farmers and key financial institutions, collecting data to feed into the model, developing the equations and code for the model, and calibration and testing of the model. You will also take the lead on several publications specifically related to the modelling methods and results coming out of this project and contribute to those publications that others lead.
