The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites application for the position of Project Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a project to conduct the research on Stability, Reliability and Advanced Control Of Power Electronic Systems and develop on utilizing advanced control methods to solve the stability and reliability problem of the power electronic systems, which contains three work packages.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of power electronic system. Planning, management and coordination for the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
  • Project planning, management, and coordination.
  • Conduct Testing and Commissioning of Power Electronic system.
  • Prepare safety documents such as Method of Statement, risk assessment.
  • Handle and service existing clients to build relationship to ensure repeatable business.
  • Attend to customer enquiry and provide quotation, sales presentation.
  • Provide costing in project tender.
  • Ensure workmanship and performance meets requirement.

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
