Applications are invited for appointment as Post­-doctoral Fellow (4 posts) in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (Ref: 502011), to commence as soon as possible for one year, subject to funding availability from the industry sponsorship.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.  They will work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment that requires exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

The appointees will be involved in a project on developing a super-resolution bioimaging method from portable Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to detailed MRI anatomy using machine learning.  This research targets to open opportunities for a new reliable, fast, and economical alternative for timely diagnosis.  The appointees will be provided with the opportunity on research training and to work with the project’s bioelectronics startup partner.  Enquiries about the posts should be sent to Dr. Cao Peng at caopeng1@hku.hk.
