The HR Directorate supports the University’s core business through effective HR interventions and the implementation of processes which underpin City’s research, education and student and other institutional strategies.
As a member of the HR Policy & Projects Team, the Reward Manager will lead on the delivery of reward policy and best practice across the University through the provision of specialised, cohesive advice and guidance that is aligned to the University’s strategic goals and objectives. This is driven by the Remuneration Committee in support of City’s Remuneration Strategy.
Responsibilities
The post-holder will support the HR team and participate in the business agenda, leading on any expert aspects relating to reward, including those relating to City’s EDI strategy. You will contribute to the effective design, development and delivery of reward strategy planning so as to ensure the attraction and retention of staff to maintain the competitive position of City.
Person Specification
The appointed candidate will have an in depth understanding of all aspects of reward with broad experience of advising and leading on the formulation and implementation of remuneration and reward strategies and associated projects. You will have advanced data management/reporting experience and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrable change management experience and the judgement and maturity to manage complex relationships.
