Job Description

Postdoctoral position is available in the newly established Department of Genetics and Genomics at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University.

The positions aim to (1) Elucidate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of human conditions including Mendelian disorders, and cancer (2) develop novel biomarker & therapeutics. Further information can be found on the College of Medicine and Health Sciences web site (https://cmhs.uaeu.ac.ae/en/index.shtml) The position is supported by a grant from the United Arab Emirates University for three years. Salary is tax-free and is in the range of 11,000-13,000 UAE Dirhams per month, commensurate with training and experience. Minimum Qualification

The successful candidate should have at least a PhD degree in a biomedical sciences or bioinformatics

Extensive research experience in more than one of the following research areas: molecular biology, bioinformatics, biochemical Genetics, cell biology, genomics, human molecular genetics or protein chemistry.
