Assistant (Academic)-Bioscience

Yeditepe University carries out its academic activities in 13 faculties namely  Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Commercial Sciences, Communication, Dentistry, Education, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy and Law, as well as in 1 School of Applied Sciences with 77 Bachelor's Degree programs; apart from 4 Associate Degree programs in Vocational School. Also, postgraduate education is conducted in 83 Master's Degree programs and 43 Doctoral Degree programs within the body of graduate schools of Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History, Educational Sciences, Health Sciences, Natural Applied Sciences, and Social Sciences. Yeditepe University, of which medium of instruction is English, prepares the youth from all over Turkey for their future in 26 Agustos Campus since the day it was founded. Yeditepe University has  more than 19 000 students. Contemporary science and education that takes its roots from Atatürk’s Principles and Republican Renaissance and conducted with a strong belief in serving the society.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Bachelor's Degree, from the  Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology, Master's degree completed or in progress, Having the goal of attaining a Ph.D degree

The  candidates should have,

• Good command of English,

• Ability to easily follow the English literature and write articles in English,

• Time management, planning and organizational skills,

• Compliance with flexible working hours,

• Dynamic, meticulous, responsible and disciplined,

• Adopted the principle of confidentiality, and thrust worthiness as life principle,

Experienced in at least 2 of the following areas;

• CRISPR-Cas9

• Gene cloning

• New generation sequencing (Next-Generation Sequencing, NGS)

• Eukaryotic cell culture

• Stem cell biology

• Cancer biology

• Mouse and rat models

• Bio informatics

• Viral Transconduction  and Cell Transfection Techniques

• Organoid Development

• Gene knockout and gene knock-down

• Flour Cytometry 

• Chromatin  Immunopprecipitation
