Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in the discipline of marketing who will contribute to high quality learning and teaching and, in addition, lead the development of the Coursera Online Management Programme. This is a permanent appointment, subject to a probationary period.

The successful candidate will join the Marketing Department and will help to consolidate and advance the School’s strong national and international standing. The Department has a highly collegial ethos and provides teaching and research supervision on a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programmes.

We are looking for a scholar with an interest in management education and pedagogy. Applicants will be expected to have a track record of publishing pedagogical studies relating to business education. You will hold a PhD on a topic related to the Marketing discipline and will also demonstrate engagement across the spectrum of management disciplines including Strategy, Human Resource Management and Accounting. Applicants are expected to have extensive experience in curriculum development and online pedagogy as well and excellent leadership skills. You will hold Membership at Fellowship level or above of the Higher Education Academy or be eligible to apply for this.
