The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuropsychological evaluations including experience assessing patients with frontotemporal dementia. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified in Neuropsychology, including certification to practice in Pennsylvania.

Teaching responsibilities may include may include mentoring neuropsychology graduate students in neuropsychological evaluations, and teaching principles of neuropsychology to medical students, residents, and fellows in Cognitive Neurology.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical neuropsychological evaluations of patients with cognitive disorders, including patients with Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia. Fluency in Spanish required for patient evaluations. 

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include systematic analyses and neuropsychological patterns in patients with neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia.
