Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences (PHLS) of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 502044), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent with a strong background in biological/medical sciences.  A strong background in bioinformatics is essential.  Experience in next generation sequencing analysis, infectious disease and computer programming is required.  The appointee will work in a research team to study virus genetics and evolution.
