We're seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and professional person who will help deliver a research programme of international excellence and rise to the challenge of applying for, and obtaining, prestigious research funding. This post is a response to the pressing demand for scalable Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science. The aim is to identify an individual that wants to Engineer real-world solutions to pressing problems and to do so in a way that pulls on rigorous Bayesian statistics and scalable computational resources. This post is a response to a growing need for ambitious academic staff with a desire to excel. You will have a background in Engineering, computational statistics and/or Computer Science with experience in innovating effectively at the interface between these academic disciplines. You will have expertise in collaborating with non-academic organisations to solve real-world problems. This Senior lectureship position is a response to the growing need for research and teaching in next-generation Bayesian Signal Processing and a response to recent successes that have culminated in, for example, a Centre for Doctoral Training, a £42M investment in a new building and strong strategic partnerships.
