Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS)--ranked in the top 20 of business schools globally--lies at the heart of the University of Cambridge, one of the world’s top universities.  It is an integral part of, and an important contributor to, the vibrant intellectual environment that characterizes the university.  Since it was founded about 25 years ago, CJBS has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous research and high-impact transformative education.  Its integration with the university ensures interdisciplinary research across a wide range of world-leading departments and areas of expertise.  Further, CJBS’s proximity to both London and 'Silicon Fen'--Europe's fastest growing technology-based industrial centre-- gives it unprecedented access to large multinationals and hundreds of smaller entrepreneurial organisations in emerging industries.  The business school prides itself on deep engagement with such organisations across sectors to leverage the power of academia for real world impact.  Both the university and the school believe that this combination of access to cross-disciplinary research and practice makes CJBS unique among business schools in its ability to address the biggest challenges facing the planet today.

As the current Director, Professor Christoph Loch, approaches the end of his final term, CJBS is seeking to appoint a successor to build on the School’s outstanding achievements to date.  The successful candidate will be an exceptional, creative leader with first-rate academic credentials, commensurate with holding a Professorial appointment at the University of Cambridge.  The individual will have a substantial record of inspirational leadership achieved at senior management levels in academia, and the background and experience to gain credibility as the head of a leading business school within one of the world’s best universities.

This is an exciting opportunity to maintain the upward trajectory of one of the world’s highest-performing business schools, ensuring it retains its leading edge during a period of significant change and opportunity in global higher education.
