This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and motivated team at a significant time of growth for Liverpool Business School. The newly formed School of Leadership and Organisational Development, is responsible for executive education within Liverpool Business School. We see leaders and managers as the catalysts to improving performance, productivity and business growth, and are looking for someone who shares our ambition to help them succeed. We are seeking someone with experience in Leadership and Organisational Development, who is able to facilitate and teach leaders and managers, alongside an ability to develop and maintain corporate relationships and to contribute to income generation. This is a significant opportunity to be a part of shaping a distinctive approach to executive education in a rapidly growing School.

We are looking for an individual with experience in Leadership and Organisational Development, ideally combining academic subject knowledge with practitioner experience. Experience as a practitioner in Organisational Development, with for example the NHS or Local Government, or in the private sector would be of particular interest for this post. We are seeking applicants to teach and facilitate on our leadership masters, MBA and executive education programmes, working closely with managers and organisations to help them develop better organisations. Alongside a knowledge and experience in Organisational Development it would be advantageous if the individual would also be able to contribute in subject areas closely related to Organisational Development such as leadership, organisational behaviour, strategy or change management. We are interested in what you can bring to contribute to the School’s development.

You will be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the School including to its research, knowledge transfer activities and professional activities. You must have a doctorate, or be near completion, in a relevant area, or commensurate experience in executive education and up-to-date knowledge/experience as evidenced by your research record and business engagement.
