The University is now inviting applications and nominations for the post of Deputy President and Provost.

The Role of Deputy President and Provost

Reporting to the President, the Deputy President and Provost will lead a senior management team overseeing a broad academic portfolio in charge of the planning and development of the University’s academic operations.  He/She will also play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the University’s Strategic Plans and Planning Exercise Proposals.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a visionary and inspiring leader with an international outlook as well as an excellent understanding of global trends in higher education.  He/She should be an internationally renowned scholar with proven experience in leading and managing a dynamic, sizable, complex and renowned higher educational institution.  He/She should have excellent international, national and/or local networks with the academic, business, professional and public sectors.  

The appointee is expected to assume duty in 2021.  Initial appointment is on a fixed-term contract and is renewable subject to mutual agreement.
