An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer - Academic/Clinical Tutor in Clinical Psychology to join our team.

The School of Psychology at UEL is one of the largest in the UK and has an excellent record in undergraduate and postgraduate professional training. This is complemented by a strong research profile; in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) the school was one of only four submissions to secure 100% 4* rating for research impact. We are a school that drives innovation and excellence in programme development and student experience.

Our well-established Clinical Psychology Doctoral programme is characterised by a distinctive approach to clinical training. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the enthusiastic and committed programme team. Your primary focus will be on supporting the development of trainees’ clinical skills through their placements and contributing to the coordination of these placements in liaison with Clinical Tutor teams at UCL and Royal Holloway. Supervising research, leading modules, teaching, assessing coursework, facilitation of personal and professional development groups and taking the lead within a Year Group will also be integral to this varied and dynamic role.

You will have a qualification and substantial experience in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the HCPC to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with a post-qualification employment experience in the NHS.  Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.  Previous contribution to Clinical Psychology training programmes is desirable.

UEL is a vibrant and diverse university located in Stratford and Docklands. We are implementing our Vision 2028 strategy to transform our curriculum and partnerships to make a positive difference to student, graduate and community success. Our goal is to become the leading careers-focused, enterprising university in the UK, one which both prepares our students for the jobs of the future and provides the innovation to drive that future sustainably and inclusively.
