An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Lecturer to join our Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
The School of Psychology at the University of East London is one of the largest in the UK and has an excellent record in undergraduate and postgraduate professional training. This is complemented by a strong research profile; in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) the school was one of only four submissions to secure 100% 4* rating for research impact. We are a school that drives innovation and excellence in programme development and student experience.
The appointed person will make a substantial contribution to teaching, training and applied research activities alongside associated administrative tasks. They will also take the role of research coordinator for the research component of the doctoral programme in Counselling Psychology.
They will have a degree in Psychology conferring eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society and a Doctorate or PhD in Psychology or relevant discipline. They will be able to deliver high quality clinical supervision to Counselling Psychologists in training and supervise doctoral level research.
