The School of Social and Political Sciences at The University of Lincoln is seeking to recruit Associate Lecturers to teach on a number of modules on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.  We are hoping to appoint Associate Lecturers able to teach on specialist modules in the fields of gender studies and feminism, and social/political theory, and on core social science modules in the fields of politics, IR, and sociology.

Associate Lecturers carry out a valuable role in supporting the delivery of our academic programmes and are engaged for the delivery of formal scheduled teaching and for teaching related activity (for example, preparation and marking). Successful candidates will demonstrate their enthusiasm and ability in relation to excellent teaching and assessment skills, as well as a commitment to developing these further. 

The School of Social and Political Sciences is a student-focused, collegial, and research-active School in the College of Social Science. We are an expanding department within a university that has established a reputation as one of the most dynamic and fastest growing in the UK. The University of Lincoln is ranked 17th overall in the UK in The Guardian University Guide 2020 and has been rated in the top 20 universities in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2020. We have a reputation for innovative teaching and were awarded Gold in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) in 2017.  

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
