Assistant Professor Fong Keng-Highberger in the Division of Leadership, Management, and Organization at Nanyang Business School is seeking a Project Officer. This position would be an excellent fit for post-undergraduate and graduate students who wish to gain research experience and strengthen their research skills – particularly in the area of Organizational Behavior.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day research activities, including general research project management
  • Data collection in lab, field, and online settings
  • Programming surveys (e.g., using Qualtrics, Inquisit)
  • Recruiting and running participants
  • Creating/modifying/managing IRB proposals, processing raw data
  • Revising/editing manuscripts
  • Literature reviews
  • Assisting with presentations
  • Managing the PI’s websites
  • Training and supervising undergraduate student assistants
  • Scheduling studies and research meetings
  • Assist with other administrative tasks
  • Willing to learn new programming languages, such as z-Tree and how to analyze data using program such as SPSS, HLM, MPlus, STATA and R

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • Basic understanding of research and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of business disciplines
  • Attention to details and procedures
  • Effective communication and report writing skills

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
