RESEARCH FELLOW, Economics (2 openings), to support market design and labor economics research. Will join a growing team consisting of over eighteen academic affiliates who represent leading economic thinkers, ten full-time staff members, and a number of graduate researchers. The team works closely with leading academic, government, and nonprofit institutions across the country to address major societal issues in education, health care, and the workforce. Will work closely with MIT Professor Parag Pathak and collaborators at universities across the country, including UC-Berkeley, the University of Chicago, and Harvard University. This is a junior-level position intended to act as a pathway to explore a career in economic research.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field; at least two years’ specialized experience with qualitative data analysis, research methods, and/or social sciences research (may include coursework or experience gained as an undergraduate); strong programming skills; and ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment. The position is based in Cambridge, MA, with remote work required due to the COVID-19 crisis.
This is a one-year, term-limited appointent with the possibility of an extension.
