The Post-Doctoral/Research Fellow position is available in the world-class software research centre Lero and located at the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will work on the "T-Measure" project. This project is part of the industry-funded program "TREES" which is focused on building software systems in a trustworthy, responsible, and efficient manner and, within that context, targets several software engineering issues of concern to our industrial partner.
The T-Measure research project will develop means for assessing Software Trustworthiness. The program includes identifying, adapting, developing, and evaluating approaches and tools for the assessment of software systems regarding their trustworthiness - considering attributes like security, privacy, reliability, and resilience.
This is an advanced research focused role, building on your prior experience as a post-doctoral fellow, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The primary purpose of the role is to develop new or advanced research skills and competences, on the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications and scholarly dissemination, the development of funding proposals, and the supervision and mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
Salary range: €37,874 - €43,782 per annum (PD1)
Salary range: €45,041 - €49,049 per annum (PD2)
Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
