Following the upcoming retirement of the current CEO, Emeritus Professor Dr Ken Hawkins, an outstanding opportunity exists for an exceptional and inspirational leader to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer at Kent Institute Australia (Kent).

Kent is a dual sector private provider delivering a variety of quality Higher Education and VET courses in Sydney and Melbourne. Established in 1989, Kent aspires to create work ready students in preparation for their chosen career path in a variety of courses.

Kent’s new Chief Executive Officer will continue to lead the organisation in its ongoing development. This role will be based at Kent’s Melbourne campus. As Chief Executive Officer, you will direct and manage all governance, strategic and operational activities of the organization and this will include a strong focus on Kent’s marketing and recruitment strategy. The role reports through the Executive Chair to Kent’s Governing Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in all aspects of management at the most senior levels including significant experience in Marketing and sales strategies, administration, human resources, and finance, preferably within an educational setting. He or she will have, the ability to motivate staff ensuring a student centric focus and a culture defined by excellence and quality.
