Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 501719), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Statistics or a related discipline. Applicants without a Doctoral degree but possess a Master’s degree plus 1 year’s post-qualification experience may be appointed as Senior Research Assistant. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Those with post-qualification work experience in social sciences research projects and advanced knowledge in data analysis (e.g. SEM, MLM) are preferred. The appointee should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and ability to work independently and as a team. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing and coordinating several ongoing research projects on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT); managing research activities such as overseeing data collection, analyzing data, drafting reports and literature review and providing administrative support.
